Tuesday date with this special lad. Loverboy called her my 'Lesbian partner'. HAHA! I think he is just jealous that I hold and hug another person, other than himself. We had a great catch up session yet still running around for last minute Christmas shopping. Do you have friend or anyone beside families that you are so comfortable with each other, that you don't have to worry anything what he/she will think about you or your action? Jacq is one of those few, I was blessed with girlfriends but she is one of my precious friend whom she allow me to be who I am and no matter what she will stay strong beside and behind me. And although we don't get to see each other as often we wish to, we are always a call away.

Days are nearing for our party of the year! So excited! I even sign up for sgbeat that Jacq recommended so I can update my twitter :D yey!

Errands day tomorrow, will be running around. Work in the morning; Meetup with Loverboy; Cash Converters to attempt to sell some kitchen appliances ;Jurong point/IMM to get our BBQ essentials and groceries shopping.

AND! Speaking of Loverboy, from tomorrow onwards he will be enjoying his 12 days of leave! OMG! Lucky bitch! I am going to make use of that precious time, simply because 2010 he is going to stay in during thre weekdays ): SO! Plans plans plans!

My resolutions for 2010 is still work-in-progress.

Another Hurdle

Wanted a damn reply, is that so difficult? Typing, or picking up the phone don't kill you or your cells right? I am over the top frustrated with a particular HR company. I wasn't aware of anything, or what my status or my outcome. But all I knew was, the HR is responsible and will definitely update me. And so, I wait, and wait, and wait, and wait, and guess what? Yes! MORE OF WAITING! Coming from an impatient person here, I don't usually like to idle especially when comes from an important part of my life. But at some certain times, I have learnt to let loose and be patient in a righteous way. After a week or so, no emails and no calls what do you expect? I admit I came in with confidence that I'll get the job, but that's not the point. I just want someone to tell me anything, just anything related to the interview. So that, I am able to move on and do more job hunting. I couldn't stay stuck for long, called the HR Representative and she said I was "Shortlisted". OH HOLY MOLY! Just one word and you can't even reply my emails and answer your useless phone. Geez! Fucking ridiculous you tell me. Worst of, she told me that they are other candidates eyeing and fighting for an interview for this position. I never believed in "shortlisted", nothing to be happy or relieved that she mentioned that to me. Some lucky bitch may just outshine from everybody and attract the interview, and I am definitely not of one them. Luck is what I never came across with and furthermore dealt with it, nah! Luck was never in my dictionary and perception of life. Oh wells, another chapter of job hunting in the process (over and over again). Story of my life, y'all.

Been busy, hardly have time to pen down thoughts here. Trying to deal with everything and anything. Sucks when you just have to wait for good things to happen to your life, and the bad ones just come easily, huh? Trying to be optimistic as ever, denying when I'm in doubt.
So Bella & Andie just flew back to states this morning, so I accompanied them to HollandV yesterday to do some blonde magic on Andie's & movie. GAAH! I missed out good dining at HollandV, will drag loverboy there soon.

Excited to do some leisure time this weekend, and coincidentally our anniversary falls tomorrow. So we'll be chilling at my place first to get hold on my Modern Warfare2, Paradiz for L4D2 & Marine Parade to do a dry run for our BBQ and of course a yummilicious dinner which I got the vote on! HAHA. Oh gee, I love days like this just all to ourselves.
And Sunday with family to JB, dinner with my babygirls yama & cindy.

As some may know or read, I lost my ITouch yesterday): ): ): The pain was unbearable, as I solely blame myself for being careless and stubborn. And, to tell loverboy was even much more deep. Oh wells, there is nothing I can do now. Everything happens for a reason. That ITouch didn't even celebrated it's One Year Anniversary with us ): So, Goodbye MissOrange I hope your 'dishonest' new owner treat you better than me. And I hope he/she got KARMA!

Enough of that sway moment. I had a great night out with Bella yesterday, while my dear love had his dinner meetup with his friends. Although I was still sore about my loss, I still don on a sincere smile and charged my energy just for Bella.

Received my hard earn pay, got tons of online makeup and lipsticks at Revlon. Zoom to New Look Opening Sale today @313 Somerset. Well, I hate the afternoon crowd which I experienced during UNIQLO sale. So I went there at 1pm, and loverboy joined after. Oh dear, the shoes are to dieeee for. I love NL, simply because they have a wide range of shoe sizes. But sadly the majority of heels are too high (and torturous). Got myself a pair of shoe, dress, bag and blazer. Adore my purchased casual blazer, perfect for work. I felt rejuvenating after the shopping, I assume loverboy saw it through my face and body language. Well, what can you expect? Retail Therapy works (:
FEP has a HelloKitty store, got me into my obsession mode! It was hilarious because while I was excitedly browsing around, I told the owner "You will see this guy (pointing to zu) soon again, I am just showing him around what I want for Xmas" HAHAHHAHHAHA.
Drop by City Square for dinner & Mustafa to scout for electronics and BBQ essentials. Perfect Saturday with loverboy, minus the massive crowd that is.

What is your breakfast like? I miss good old heartwarming breakfast with love. Nothing like this for me for the past month, skipped breakfast and moving on to brunch. Lazing around is something I call Luxury. Every little hardest thing that requires me to push, I brake and slowed down. And somedays I do give up. Man, where is my soul? But, dont feel bad for me. I will use this luxurious moment preciously. Simply because life is unexpected and I may not have this opportunity again.

Have you met someone who you just want to absorb all the pain that he/she is suffering? I had. The 2 nights wasn't easy for me. Whining about the sleepless hours, back pain, hand pain, constant cuddling and what not. But, looking at how Jake suffered the whole entire 2 months of his life was heart wrecking. I talked to Allah about him when he was sleeping soundly. And how amazing it will be if babies can understand us. I hope he was happy that I gave my all to make him comfortable, and all I can think about before I sleep tonight is gonna be him and his big eyed eyes. And will he be comfortable in the hospital tonight with protruding IV lines, noisy environment? Will the nurses remember to burp him after 10mls? Will the nurses be extra gentle especially with his buttocks? It's all running in my damn brain now. Thinking about this, made my heartbeat skip fast.

Did you watch the OPRAH episode today about the happiest people on earth? Got me thinking and I want to move to Denmark!

Copenhagen, Denmark

Danish people are rank top in the "World's Happiest People in the World". Oh my! Beat that! If being the happiest place on Earth isn't enough, Denmark also ranks as the world's least corrupt country, the second most peaceful country, and it has the highest level of income equality. Furthermore, it was the first country to legalize pornography and to grant same-sex couples nearly all of the rights of marriage.

Why I'm convinced I want to be Danish:
- 1/3 of the population mainly cycle bikes for transportation. (Environmental-friendly)
- 1 year paid Maternity Leave.
- Free health care.
- Homelessness, poverty and unemployment are rare. (If you are fired, the government will still pay 90% of your pay monthly maximum 4 years till you get another job)
- They eat fresh food from the market daily.
- They have cute prams for their babies and let them nap outside. (No such thing as child molester or kidnappers. It's the norm to leave your children unattended.Mothers just park the pram outside a cafe, while she sips on coffee and read a book.)
- University is free.(You actually get paid to go to a university. They call it education support.)
- Marriage is focused on the relationship, not the big wedding.
- Everyone heads home at around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, family is the focus.
- Their homes are mostly clean and simple, they don't feel like they need a lot of stuff. (But very modern)

Sounds a lot like socialism?

One more interesting tidbit that got me thinking: They are known as the happiest people on earth, but also the least religious! That I have no answers for.

Mad food feasting this week, we traveled everywhere to have our cravings fulfilled. I love how sometimes I can persuade and beg loverboy with my powerful kitty look to win over anything I want. Well, key word- 'Sometimes'. HAHAHA.

1. Chacos @ AMK. Loverboy's craving for his seafood salad.
2. Mcdonald SHAKER FRIES. Of course, duh!
3. KOI @ TPY. We had a virgin go at AMK previously and I am addicted to it. Although it was rather pricey for a bubble tea drink but their pearls are the best! Smooth & YUMMEH!! Is not easy to drag loverboy for bubble tea. BUT! I psycho-ed him. Look at the queue, when we left the crowd got bigger till the corridor was so squeezy to walk through. OPEN AT BUKITBATOK LAR!
4. KOI Cappuccino Blended & Hazelnut Milk Tea.
5.TIMBRE @ Arts House. Their Buffalo Wings & Pizzas are to die for!
Weekend love! After attending Jes's Engagement. We played Left4Dead2, I was pretty lost at first because of the new surroundings & weapons. We were dead at least 3 times!? HAHAH. Need to buck up and kill the ZOMBIESSSSS.
We then went over to TIMBRE to have our dinner/supper. I hate crowds, hate hate hate. Loverboy listed out so many places to chill but I rejected all. Simply because I hate crowded places. We were lucky enough to arrive at Timbre slightly earlier to catch the outdoor seats. Good music, Good company, Good food and Good drinks, BEST LOVE.

A month away to a new year, how time flies.
I still keep the resolution list that me and loverboy compiled. For all I know, I did all but one! HAHA. A splendid learning path of 2009 for me & I want to stay 21 forever pleaseeee.
